During the second day of Europa League, Roma gets three points with a 4-0 win against a not very formidable Romanian opponent thanks to Strootman, Fazio and Salah's goals and Fabricio own one. It's hard to express an opinion or a real judgement about this match, especially if we consider our opponent. Thanks to this victory, Roma shares the first place of its group with Austria Wien, against which we'll play on 20th October at Stadio Olimpico. So, it's time to analyze what was 'in' and what was 'out' last evening.

In:

Totti: For 'the Captain' there is no better way to celebrate his birthday: assist for Strootman and Salah's goals and for Fazio's one if we consider his formidable free kick that hits the post only thanks to opposing goalkeeper's save. In addition to that, there are his usual magic moves. So, what do we do? Do we renew his contract or not?

Allison:  The goalkeeper of Brazil national team makes the most of the chance Spalletti gives him. Well done on Nicoara after 4 minutes and even if he does nothing more than this, he's always focused on the match.

Paredes and Strootman: When Spalletti lines up them together, they always make great performances. Leo shows his skills as playmaker and Kevin destroys opposing midfield recovering an extraordinarily large number of balls. The Dutch player scores a goal thanks to Totti's assist and the Argentinian one is close to do the same.  Next time, okay?

Out:

Iturbe: Every time I read his name on line-up I think that maybe he will break through this situation, but he doesn't. Ever. He always works hard, but the quality of his efforts isn't very good. He can't neither dribble nor score, even when 'the Captain' assists him in a perfect way. Last summer to convince Sabatini to don't sell him, Giallorossi supporters used the hashtag '#SaveIturbe', today we use it again but to save him from the football ineptitude vortex in which he's falling.
