Roma had to win and it did. Giallorossi get three points at “Ezio Scida” Stadium in Crotone, despite the defensive play of the opposing team and Dzeko’s missed penalty on 17 minutes.

Spalletti’s side has made a good performance but it did not seem to want to put an end to the match. Maybe because the players believed that they were stronger than the opposing ones and that the winning goal would come, sooner or later.

Even this time, Radja Nainggolan got it. His excellent performance is a response to the criticisms that have been made of him because of a video in which he has shown no sympathy for Juventus. He scores his ninth goal, plays always better as attacking midfielder and is again the man of the match. This is the only thing that matters. Clearly, Radja wears out those who do not have him.

Another positive note is the return of Mohammed Salah after the African Cup of Nations. The Egyptian player is not yet at his best and the line-up of Crotone is a problem for him. Despite it, he has made a good performance, considered the penalty and the assist for Dzeko’s goal.

The difference between these two teams is clear but we must applaud the attitude of Roma’s defenders, above all Federico Fazio. He has played an excellent performance and the numbers prove that – 100% aerial duels won, 100% tackles won. Unsurmountable.

It has been an easy victory but we expect more from Bruno Peres and Leandro Paredes. The Brazilian player seems the ugly twin of the great right-back who played with Torino and Paredes has played with no determination, no self-confidence. Both have great abilities but we expect more from them.

This month will be very hard for Roma that will play in Serie A, TIM Cup and Europa League. At the end, we will know the real objectives of Roma. Now, the team must focus on the match against Villareal that is not playing very well in this period but is a good team and it will be difficult to beat it. Go to the eighth-finals! FORZA ROMA.

PS For all those who have criticised Dzeko after he missed the penalty, I say that he scored the second goal – his 18th goal in Serie A and the 25th one of this season. See you next Sunday, okay? GO EDIN.
